Statement Saturday: JV and Varsity both win 9–0

Eighteen goals scored. Zero allowed. Floyd Central swept Saturday’s home doubleheader against Bedford North Lawrence, with the JV and varsity each posting 9–0 wins.

The JV set the tone in the 11:00 AM opener, and the varsity matched them goal for goal at 12:30 — first wins of the season for both squads, and a pair of clean sheets to go with them.

The sweep moved the varsity to 1-1-1 and the JV to 1-1 on the young season before the midweek trip to Providence.
